Important Information

• The Alpha II tent is designed to open to the passenger side only.
• Regular maintenance of the clear coat on the ABS shell is necessary to protect against UV rays, rocks, and dirt.
• Ensure your vehicle has crossbars that can support the weight of the tent and occupants. Maximum width of crossbars should be 3.25 inches.
• Two people are required for mounting the tent.

• Mounting Tent Mounting your tent requires a minimum of two people. Position the tent on top of your vehicle's roof rack, bed rack, or trailer and center it to your liking (Your tent will ONLY OPEN ON THE PASSENGER SIDE). Using the supplied hardware, slide the hardware into the channel so there are two bolts per corner. Run the bolts through the mounting brackets holes and tighten all nuts until the tent is secure. Undo the buckles, push up on the handle to actuate the hydraulic rams, and extend the telescoping ladder until the folding side of the tent is fully open. Reposition the ladder, install the tension rods, and enjoy your tent!
• Required Maintenance The clear coat on the Alpha shells protects against UV rays, rocks, and dirt. Regular washing and waxing can help maintain it. Keep the tent out of direct sunlight when possible, clean off bird and bug droppings immediately, and protect the shell from salty air. Avoid getting tree sap on the tent and wash and wax it regularly.
• Repair Tips For minor cracks, clean the area thoroughly, grind the damaged area, and use a PlastiFix® Rigid Plastic Repair Kit. Align damage and deformation using a heat gun, then sand and reshape as needed. For deeper cuts or tears, align the outer surface with Aluminum Body Tape before beginning the repair process.
